About Us

Father Your Hood, a nonprofit organization based in Hamilton, Ohio, whose mission is the creation of resources and pathways to services to help restore black fathers at the head of black households and pillars in their communities. Father Your Hood was founded in 2023 by LeAnder Tipton, a community member in the city of Hamilton who recognized the need for a local organization dedicated to helping Black Fathers and those disenfranchised by not having their fathers in the home. Since then, we have grown into a thriving nonprofit, serving hundreds of fathers and youth each year.

Our team is made up of licensed community workers, life coaches, and other professionals in the space of youth development who are passionate about supporting mental health and social wellness in our community.
